Global Partner Account Executive

This job reports to the Manager of Global Partners, and is based in Aware’s Bedford, MA USA headquarters.

The ideal candidate has experience in the biometrics industry or in a similar industry associated with identity focused products and has a strong technical background. Experience with both domestic and international sales, US Citizenship, and either a BS or BA are prerequisites for this position.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Manager of Global Partners in pursuit of two of Aware’s strategic initiatives which are:

  • To become the solution partner of choice for Identity Leaders
  • To become the value-added reseller of devices such as dedicated mobile systems, terminals, or kiosks:
    • To engage with these device vendors such that they are motivated to promote, sell, and include Aware software in and to complete their offerings, and
    • To enable Aware to be ready to resell complete offerings directly to our customers as part of a solution offering or as an added value offering that we have as part of our proposal or optional service

These companies are strategically important, long term, resellers of Aware software that is embedded within their own products or that is functionally and commercially complementary to their own products.

These partners can be in any vertical and in any geographic location.

This role is responsible for all engagement and communication with these new partners globally including, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Identification and evaluation of potential partners who are a good match for Aware’s capabilities via:
    • Reviewing incoming leads
    • Proactively identifying prospective partners
    • Attending conferences, trade shows, and industry events
  • Conveyance of the Aware value proposition
  • Demonstration of Aware products with the ability to describe Aware’s product differentiation
  • Successful closing of new partner business
  • Partner onboarding including:
    • Issuance and implementation of technology with assistance from the relevant technical team
    • Partner product training with assistance from the relevant members of the technical team
  • Quarterly discussions with each partner with the goals of:
    • Reviewing and understanding the implementation
    • Ensure adoption of integrated technology
    • Ensuring continued commitment Aware products
    • Understanding goals, road maps, and pain points
    • Providing updates on Aware technology and services
    • Identification of potential for growth of revenue via additional product adoption
    • Gaining insight into market trends and gathering market intelligence
  • Create a sustainable quarterly revenue stream from new integrated partners both from their reselling of our products and us reselling their product integrated with our software product
  • Communicating partner needs and status to the Manager of Global Partners
  • Coordination with CTO and engineering team to ensure alignment and effective performance of the selected value-added suppliers for our use and their resell
  • Coordinated common listing of value added resellers and their products with CTO and engineering with complete reseller part number cataloging for our program office and sales team use
  • Monitoring partner support needs and working with relevant technical team members to resolve issues
  • Monitoring partner renewal stream and working with relevant team members to achieve a high renewal rate

While partner engagement and communication is an important responsibility of this position, the primary focus and end goal is long term revenue generation. An incentive-based compensation plan will be implemented to ensure the appropriate balance is achieved.

Required Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience in OEM or direct sales with the ability to close sales on a quarterly basis and to forecast accurately
  • Experience in both domestic and international sales
  • Experience with both commercial and government sectors
  • Experience in both sourcing new business and managing existing relationships
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of hardware and software including programming languages, operating systems, applications, and SaaS.
  • Superior communication skills, and you are comfortable speaking in front of an audience and giving technical presentations
  • A comfort level and ability to demonstrate technology
  • Experience writing proposals, RFI responses, and quotations
  • A working knowledge of SalesForce.com and Microsoft Office.

Imaging Scientist, Facial Biometrics

The Imaging Scientist will work with the engineering staff to implement research results into commercial-quality software for product development and enhancement.

Research Engineer, Voice Biometrics

Aware’s voice biometric products are at an early stage, but currently include text-dependent speaker recognition and voice anti-spoofing.

This position requires an organized individual with very strong technical skills who is adept at understanding and solving complex technical problems and eager to explore uncharted territories in voice biometrics.

Responsibilities include combining algorithm research and development with API design and a level of product management that will encompass technical product ownership for Aware’s voice biometric initiative. This position will work with the engineering management and staff, and the algorithm research team to implement and advance Aware’s voice biometric algorithms and products.

Senior Software Engineer Biometrics (Java)

Aware seeks a qualified candidate for the position of Senior Software Engineer to join its team of software engineers at its headquarters in Bedford, MA. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated experienced software engineer with understanding of server application development for commercial software. This position requires a team player with very strong technical skills to develop commercial-grade software based upon Aware’s existing and new product ventures. This position requires an organized individual, adept at implementing complex technical plans as directed. The engineer will possess the personal skills to interface directly with Aware’s customers requiring support and service of Aware’s products.

Experience with biometrics is a plus. The team works on a variety of projects in the biometrics market including fingerprint, face, iris, and voice collection and analysis. This analysis includes matching, quality metrics, and compression. The software is deployed in a large variety of environments including client and server applications on multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, and UNIX).

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include a team-based approach to writing software product engineering specifications, designing and implementing to support the specifications. The ability to shift focus quickly from one project to another and to allocate personal resources to more than one project at a time is important. The individual will be a significant contributor in a small team of software engineers, focused on delivering quality software in short time-cycles.

Regional Sales Representative – Mexico/Central America

Context of this recruitment

Aware is steadily growing in the Mexican and Central America markets and has established key accounts and partners in those regions, from government to the private financial sectors. Aware is now looking to leverage this momentum and more aggressively expand its multi-modal biometric products and services to other government entities, financial sector, and unexplored market verticals. This role will be focused on growing revenue, securing reference customers, and deploying Aware’s new products.

Objective of the role

  • You are a self-motivated salesperson who is curious about new technologies and not afraid to think outside the box. You combine sales and technical knowledge to explore/build new markets and win new accounts (hunting), create and maintain relationships with existing customers/partners and explore new opportunities with them (farming).  You are not afraid of being hands-on to get things done.
  • You will be part of and supported by a highly motivated, fast-pace LATAM sales team to evaluate market trends, gather marketplace information, and jointly develop a winning market strategy for Aware’s products.
  • Generate and achieve stipulated quota amount from new and existing customers
  • Secure key reference customers
  • Close stipulated number of opportunities that involve Aware’s new products

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plan that complements Aware’s Strategic Goals & Business Objectives to achieve sales targets and expand Aware`s customer base.
  • Serve as the local face of Aware in the region.
  • Systematically build a pipeline of opportunities with an aggregate total TBD.
  • Direct market activities focused on prospects in the region.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in a sales capacity across the Latin America region.
  • Experience in biometrics, security, telecom, bank or fintech digital onboarding and fraud prevention preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading sales in Mexico and/or Central America for a US-based technology company.
  • Experience selling directly and through large systems integrators to Large Enterprises & Government entities.

Inside Sales Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION

Aware is looking for a high energy and dynamic sales representative to respond to inbound inquires on Aware’s exciting range of identity software solutions.  In addition, this role will contact Aware’s customer base to renew agreements and assess customer satisfaction. This role will be responsible for servicing inbound inquiries with a focus on engaging and qualifying prospective customers. This role is one of the first touch points for companies eager to learn more about Aware and the engagement will set the tone for the sales cycle following.  A high performing inside sales representative will learn about Aware’s identity software products and grow into other responsibilities in sales and marketing.
