Mobile biometric enrollment and search
URC Mobile is Windows-based biometric enrollment application running on a ruggedized mobile biometric capture device. It provides military personnel with a user interface designed for ease-of-use in challenging environments to collect biometrics and other information from an individual and compare it to records in a biometric watch list.BioSP is used to manage and update the software and records deployed on mobile devices running URC Mobile.
Employment applicant screening
For employment applicant screening, URC is a biometric enrollment application used to collect biometrics from an applicant for biometric search. FingerprintComponent and FaceComponent operate as .NET controls within URC to perform fingerprint and face autocapture and also abstraction of the capture hardware peripherals. TravelDocComponent performs authentication of an applicant’s e-passport and driver’s license. SubmitComponent manages data submission to BioSP.These BioComponents can alternatively operate as Java applets within a browser. BioSP is used to submit biometric data to an AFIS for biometric search and to share data between disparate systems such as a case management system.
