Dr. DSL LDP uses industry-standard protocols and interfaces to collect, normalize and interpret single-ended (SELT), dual-ended (DELT) and metallic test (MELT) parameters from network equipment such as DSLAMs, customer premises equipment (CPE) as well as outside plant devices. A graphical user interface manages and schedules diagnostics tests to provide actionable, plain-English results for use by customer service agents, network operations experts and technicians. A northbound web service interface allows results to be incorporated into a service provider’s OSS applications.
