Aware is a leading technology supplier for the telecommunications and biometrics industries.

Aware supplies DSL silicon intellectual property to some of the world’s leading semiconductor companies.  Our solutions have a strong footprint in the initial rollouts of IPTV and triple play services that use ADSL2+ and VDSL2 technology.  Aware has been in the DSL business for more than a dozen years, pioneering innovations at standards setting organizations.  Our StratiPHY product line supports all DSL standards and has been broadly licensed to leading semiconductor companies.  This positions us to grow revenues and profits as the deployment footprint for ADSL2+ and VDSL2 grows. 

Aware also offers advanced DSL test and diagnostics products in the form of hardware and software components we sell to OEMs in the automated test head and outside plant handheld tester industry. IPTV and triple-play require more sophisticated testing and monitoring of DSL networks, which are addressed with the functionality in our hardware and Dr. DSL software solutions.

Aware is also a veteran of the biometrics industry, providing software that targets existing and emerging biometric market opportunities.  We have had a strong position in fingerprint enrollment systems and recently added products for border control and secure credential applications.
