Browser-Based Application for Multimodal Biometric Enrollment with Autocapture and Hardware Abstraction

WebEnroll provides a reference application with applets for browser-based enrollment of biographic data, fingerprints, and facial images. The application implements Aware FastCapture and PreFace software library products within individual Java applets.  Each applet performs advanced fingerprint and face autocapture as well as live scan and digital camera hardware abstraction.  Once images are captured, they can be submitted to BioSP for storage in a database.  Fingerprint data can then be used to perform biometric verification and/or identification using either the BioSP Fingerprint Identification Module or alternatively one of several third-party matchers integrated with BioSP.  WebEnroll enables ultra-fast and ultra-flexible development or integration of browser-based biometric enrollment, verification, and identification functions.
