Software for Centralized Passport Authentication

The BioSP Document Authentication module performs server-based authentication of passports and other identity credentials such as drivers’ licenses. It utilizes a leading third-party platform to perform advanced algorithmic analysis of document images. The module works with document images from several leading document scanner hardware products. Images of documents taken with multiple standard light sources (white light, infrared, ultraviolet, etc) are collected using the scanner hardware at end points such as border checkpoints. The images are sent to BioSP, where the Document Authentication module detects security features and other characteristics used to determine the authenticity of a documents. Results of the analysis are returned to the scanner operator.
