BioLog™

Server-Based Biometric Verification for Logical Access Control

BioLog is a family of software products that applies biometric authentication to securing access to digital assets. BioLog implements MINEX-certified, interoperable fingerprint template generation and matching algorithms to provide biometric authentication for a variety of use cases and architectures. BioLog utilizes BioSP for server-based 1:1 and 1:many matching as required.

BioLog performs biometric authentication for the following applications:

1. Match-to-PIV card for secure PC and laptop login - fingerprint matching to PIV card for login using integrated fingerprint and smart card readers for laptop use and external peripherals for PCs
2. thin client fingerprint capture - collection of fingerprints at a Sun Ray thin client terminal (use of a Solaris compatible fingerprint capture device is required)
3. thin client match-to-PIV card - match to PIV card for Sun Ray thin client login and session mobility
4. thin client match-to-Sun Ray card – match-to-server for Oracle Sun Ray Client login and session mobility
5. logical access via enterprise access management products - biometric authentication service for digital assets secured with ForgeRock OpenAM (formerly Sun OpenSSO Enterprise) and IBM Tivoli Access Manager
